The Department of Health and Agence eSanté organised a lunchtalk for midwives, highlighting the importance of vaccinating pregnant women and the benefits of the electronic vaccination record (CVE - Carnet de Vaccination Électronique) for immunisation monitoring

Dr Isabel de la Fuente, a specialist in pediatric infectious diseases at the KannerKlinik (Centre Hospitalier de Luxembourg), gave an update on the new recommendations from the Conseil Supérieur des Maladies Infectieuses on vaccinating pregnant women.

The CVE's functionalities were highlighted, with a particular focus on the vaccination decision support system, which generates personalised recommendations based on the health profile of each expectant mother.
