Service for the automated exchange of information required for the mandatory reporting of certain diseases.

The Agence eSanté has been mandated as a technological third party by the “Direction de la Santé” for the implementation of this tool which allows the automated exchange of information required under the law of 1 August 2018 on the mandatory declaration of certain diseases.

With the entry into force of this law, doctors, dentists and/or medical biology analysis laboratories are obliged to declare certain infectious diseases, such as tuberculosis, Lyme disease, measles or sexually transmitted diseases (e.g.: AIDS, Syphilis, Hepatitis). The ultimate objective of this obligation is to ensure better surveillance of infectious diseases in the Grand Duchy.
